Angela Okorie slams Zubby Michael for giving money to Junior Pope’s family ‘on camera’
Zubby Michael came under fire from Nollywood actress Angela Okorie for announcing his donation to the family of their late colleague, Junior Pope.
On social media, a video of Michael giving a contribution to Jennifer Awele, the widow of Junior Pope, and their kids has gone viral.
In response, Okorie chastised Michael for donating “on camera.”
She pointed out that it is inappropriate to show off wealth at a young person's funeral.
She wrote on her Instagram story: “Zubby na young person die, that showcase of money wasn’t necessary. But as a local boy that you are, you don’t have sense. You don’t know where to do show and where to behave well.
“Abi you get money pass all the dignitaries wey come there? Mugu.”
