Breaking: VeryDarkman Regains Freedom After Spending 2 Weeks in Prison
Martins Otse, a.k.a. Verydarkman, the controversial social media critic, has been released by the police in Abuja. He was released on Sunday 31st April 2024. On Sunday, Otse's attorney, Deji Adeyanju, verified his release.
Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate, claims that the 27-year-old was placed under detention due to accusations of cyberbullying.
According to Sowore, the police were abusing their authority and working with the country's most powerful people to oppress others.
Good news on Easter Sunday! @thatverydarkman is now free! Thanks for all your efforts to ensure oppression will not always win! #RevolutionNow — Omoyele Sowore (@YeleSowore) March 31, 2024
“I heard that the IPOs the lawyers initially met said they had not received any instruction to release VeryDarkMan but later when they were able to reach DIG Alabi, he said there was no one available to process the release because of the Easter break.
“So he asked them to come back for VeryDarkMan on Tuesday after the Easter break is over,” the source said.
Also Verydarkman himself verified his release on his twitter page. We 're back, he posted.
