Grammy: Wike never gave me anything – Burna Boy
Grammy-winning musician Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage as Burna Boy, claims that he has never received anything from a Nigerian politician.
The sober implied that former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike broke his word to him following his Grammy win in a message posted on his X Twitter on Thursday.
The DAILY POST remembers that in 2021, Wike declared he would reward Burna Boy for winning the Grammy Award with a piece of land and money.
This happened when Burna Boy's record "Twice as Tall" won the Best Global Music record category, and Rivers State hosted a homecoming ceremony for him.
Nevertheless, Burna Boy stated in the post:
“No politician has ever given anything. Go ask wike where the land him give me or which money him give me. You think I’m your faves.”
