I Almost Got Expelled For Sneaking To Buy Your Album – Spyro Tells 2Baba
Known for his avant-garde music, Spyro posted a video of himself and 2Baba having a great time at an exclusive eatery on social media. His write-up indicated that he had always looked up to 2Baba, whose real name is Innocent Idibia, and labeled the “African Queen” hitmaker as his mentor.
Spyro also shared a tale of nearly being dismissed from school for smuggling in to purchase 2Baba’s “Grass 2 Grace,” his second solo album.
Having just returned from a happy meeting with his mentor, Spyro thanked God for all of his opportunities and said, “Na who fuck up, give up.”
His video caption read, “I can’t even form o… I literally learnt this p as a kid watching him… I almost got expelled for sneaking out of school to buy GRASS2GRACE album then”.
