The activist allegedly accused Ashmusy, a.k.a. social media influencer Amarchi Amusi, of scamming a man. The influencer eventually gave the man a N1 million refund after being hauled away.

In the audio that was widely shared, VDM said he was ready to make more calls. He identified himself as one of the social media influencers listed by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

He acknowledged being a victim in the video and asserted to be the father of the majority of celebrities on the internet.

Celebrities should avoid pursuing him, the activist warned, since they would ultimately become the victims. The controversial man threatened to hold them accountable if any of them defraud an innocent person. To make sure the money is paid, he will get in touch with the police if they refuse.
