I’m Better Actor Than American Actor Denzel Washington – Kanayo

This is all while claiming that he puts in more work and is a better actor than well-known Hollywood star Denzel Washington because he works more.

During an interview with the Honest Bunch podcast, Kanayo made a declaration.

He said that terrible parts do not make lousy performers, drawing a comparison between his film roles and that of Hollywood's Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He asserted that, in contrast to what is currently seen, Nollywood performers like himself put in a great deal of work to act and produce quality films.

"Denzel Washington's color will change to charcoal the next day if he puts in as many hours as I do on this production," Kanayo remarked.

He related how, in 1992, New Yorkers researched the Nollywood business and were astounded by the amount of work and technical skill that went into its production.

He said that Nollywood was named after American actors, despite the fact that it looked like "Nothingwood."

“They have come to understudy us. Americans from New York came to study us, they said guys, ‘we see some efforts here and there, these things take us about one month to sort, how come you achieve it in one week?’ So it was now a course of study for them, they saw the zeal we put in.”
