“I’m finding comfort knowing she’s in heaven” – DJ Cuppy mourns as she loses her grandmother

DJ Cuppy used social media to express her grief on her grandmother's passing, who was 91 years old. She wrote heartfelt obituaries for her. The "Gelato" crooner claims that her 1933-born grandmother passed away in 2024.

The Oxford graduate added that knowing that her grandmother is now "in heaven" gives her peace. The singer expressed her gratitude for the way her grandmother brought up her mother, Nana Otedola, who brought her up.

Via her X handle, she wrote, “My mummy’s mother has passed away ????????️???????? I’m finding comfort knowing she’s in heaven, looking down on us with love. What a life she lived!”

“I’m SO grateful for the way she shaped my mum, who then shaped me. I’m praying for my very own during this sudden season of change, but we already know that our God is good all the time.”
