I’m Not Toyin Lawani’s Lab Rat My AMVCA Dress Took 30 Days to Make – Ifu Ennada Rants

Ifu Ennada, a contestant on Big Brother Naija 2018 who wore a controversial costume to the recently held 2023 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards, AMVCA, has reacted angrily to the criticism.

Ifu Ennada has drawn criticism from a variety of quarters for making it a point to dress out of the ordinary, especially to the annual AMVCA.

While others encouraged her, saying that one day her efforts to win best dress will pay off, she left many others inquisitive about her attire.

The model and third-season BBNaija housemate donned a black dress created by Tiannah last night.

Ifu Ennada rants on her Instagram story in response to criticisms made by others, denying that she is Toyin Lawani, aka Tianna's test subject, as some have said, given that she paid millions for her dress. Having done nothing wrong, the Olabisi Onabanjo University alumna also questioned why people dislike her.

Ifu Ennada previously claimed that she very narrowly avoided dying because "they didn't want me to trend for AMVCA." She penned:

"Honestly, I get the impression that some Nigerians despise me because you guys never stop teasing me. I never behave properly in your sight, not that I care since no one is feeding me.

It's unfortunate because I'm a talented and driven young person. You can readily tell that I am a breath of fresh air from my businesses and other endeavors, yet LasLas uno wan choke for my matter. Shaa, make una keep going. For as long as I can, I'll keep leaving you gasping for air.

For superficial minds to comprehend what I chose to wear to #AMVCA is not my intention. I don't chose to express myself through art or clothing for the enjoyment of starving cesspool dwellers. This outfit for my AMVCA required more than "720" hours to build, and it was very expensive. You guys insult me every year, and while I'm sick and tired of it, I don't intend to stop since I wasn't born to be like your miserable a$$es.

Why can't you people accept me if you can accept unusual Nigerians like Speed Darlington and Portable?

Don't you people get sick of attacking me all the time?

In my comment area, my direct messages, blogs, everywhere, I woke up to insults.

Why won't you guys just realize that I appreciate being a one-of-a-kind individual?

I've heard it said by a few of you that I'm Tiannah's lab rat, but I'm not. I receive exactly what I ask for.

Some of you have even suggested that she styles me for free, but she doesn't. Even with her reduction, the amount I pay still amounts to millions.

These Looks are not affordable or free.

I'm pleading with Ya'll to accept me as lam for the benefit of your mental health since I plan to stay here for a very long time and have no intention of changing.

I was created to be unique. People who knew me when I was younger will tell you without charge that I was always easy to recognize in a crowd.

Have you considered the fact that I'm not physically unfit and unhealthy like the majority of those calling me names? I could stand all day because I am healthy and fit.

Aside from that, I could simply switch into the second half of my outfit, which is a Transformer, and sit if that were my only issue with life.
