In a widely shared video, Grammy Award winner Burna Boy—also known as Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu—expressed his respect for his colleague Wizkid. On his official Twitter account, Wizkid recently commemorated the 13th anniversary of his debut album, Superstar.
Wizkid wrote; “13 yrs since superstar! First album! Thankful for all Gods blessings. Healthy family ! Blessed life! Love God ❤️ ????.”
The album has had an incredible resurgence, ranking in Ireland and the UK and rising to the top three on the Nigerian Apple Music charts.
Burna Boy is shown in the video listening to the Superstar CD with his sisters and mother.
When Burna Boy heard the song "Pakurumo," he became very happy and pushed Wizkid to release another album similar to Superstar. He shared a video of his mother dancing to the album and called Wizkid the "Lion."
