Shatta Wale’s mother cries out over son’s neglect, seeks help [VIDEO]
Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, the mother of well-known dancehall artist Shatta Wale from Ghana, has expressed her displeasure with her son's disregard.
Remember how Elsie bemoaned the singer's absence from her life in a video after she was forced to leave her house in 2022.
In 2024, the 70-year-old lady lamented her failing health—which included hypertension—in a viral social media video, but her son offered her no consolation.
She clarified that without knowing her whereabouts, Shatta Wale had been ignoring her for more than a decade.
Elsie, who revealed that, as a result of her health issue, she is currently in the care of her sister and niece, Sharita Aheteku, made a financial appeal to the public.
“My name is Elsie Evelyn Avemegah. I am the biological mother of Shatta Wale. I haven’t spoken with my son for about 10 or more years now. He doesn’t know where I live and what I eat but now my health is dropping and I’m seriously healed.”
