Titanic Actor Bernard Hill Passes Away
Bernard Hill, a renowned British actor who was best known for the roles he played in The Lord of the Rings and the Titanic, died at the age of 79.
In the presence of his fiancée Alison and his son Gabriel, Hill passed away on Sunday morning, according to his agent, Lou Coulson, who confirmed the tragedy.
Following his part in the 1982 BBC TV series “Boys from the Blackstuff,” Hill became well-known.
His performances as King Théoden in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Captain Edward Smith in the 1997 Oscar-winning film “Titanic” brought him widespread acclaim.
