According to reports, the famous activist was arrested for allegedly cyberbullying well-known Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, and is currently being held in a police cell.

Numerous people have petitioned for his release from prison, including his supporters and a few well-known figures.

When Verydarkman was hosted in his UK home a few months ago, his friend Tunde Ednut gave him an explanation of what would happen to him after he gets out of police custody.

He predicted that Verydarkman would become well-known when he was liberated, adding that other people who had previously been imprisoned by the government would exhibit a similar trend.

Verydarkman would be fine, Tunde Ednut claimed, as it was only a civil lawsuit.

“The funny thing is that when VeryDarkMan comes out, he will become more popular. Have you ever noticed that anytime Police arrests someone in Nigeria, you become bigger and more popular once you get Now, it is what you do with it immediately you come out that matters. He will be fine. Na civil case,” he said.
