Verydarkman not arrested – Police
There have been claims circulating that Nigerian social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, or VDM, was taken into custody. However, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command has refuted these accusations.
According to earlier reports that surfaced on Sunday, the social critic was detained by Nigerian Police agents for allegedly disclosing a criminal act.
Verydarkman was simply invited for questioning, according to SP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, who was contacted by DAILY POST.
She explained that VDM was questioned on claims of cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and character slander and that he was promptly freed upon responding to the accusations brought against him by someone.
