Isaac Olayiwola, better known by his stage name Layi Wasabi, who is a Nigerian comedian and actor, has explained why he rejects the idea of a "girlfriend."
The 10th Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards Best Online Content Creator winner, Chinasa Anukam, said that he prefers the term "partnership" to "girlfriend" during an appearance on the most recent episode of the podcast "Is This Seat Taken?"
He expressed,
“I don’t believe in the concept of a girlfriend. I believe in partnership. I don’t believe in that phase of girlfriends. I start with courtship. I have to see the wife in the person from the beginning.”

Wasabi revealed that he has only gone on four dates.
The skit maker stated that a tall woman is his ideal companion, emphasizing that height is what attracts him to women the most.
