Change The Economic Hardship Not National Anthem - Joeboy Aims At FG As It Changes The National Anthem
The federal government has come under fire from popular musician Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, better known by his stage name Joeboy, for choosing to change the National Anthem over fixing the many issues the nation faces.
According to sources, President Bola Tinubu signed the National hymn Bill 2024 into law on Wednesday, bringing back the traditional hymn, "Nigeria, We Hail Thee."
Joeboy reacted by questioning why changing the National Anthem was given more importance than urgent domestic problems.
He wrote on his X account, “Of all the problems Nigerians have to deal with, changing the national anthem is priority? Okay naw.”
