Drop hit song, stop chasing clout – Doyin, Tacha blast Wizkid

Doyin and Tacha, the former Big Brother Naija housemates, have blasted Wizkid for insulting Don Jazzy on social media and "chasing clout."

Wizkid was reportedly having a lot of fun on Monday after making fun of Don Jazzy and Davido on X.

Doyin responded by saying that the Starboy chief should stop pursuing fame and instead concentrate on releasing music.

She took a special exception with Wizkid for allegedly "disrespecting" Don Jazzy.

"Don Jazzy is still the JayZ of the Nigerian music industry," the woman stated on her Instagram profile. Attempting to belittle him only serves to highlight how incorrect your thinking is. Don't bother chasing influence, just hit!”

Wizkid was forewarned by Tacha that any denigration or malice directed towards Don Jazzy would not be allowed.

Tacha said in a video post on social media that Don Jazzy has had a big influence on the Nigerian music scene.

Tacha said: “No Don Jazzy slander will be tolerated. Don Jazzy’s impact on the entertainment industry can never be overemphasized.

“If you have to take off Don Jazzy’s inputs on the industry, that would be you taking half of Afrobeats away. Because who would you be listening to? Don Jazzy has grown a lot of global superstars.

“This is somebody that doesn’t restrict himself to the music industry alone. Don Jazzy is there for everybody regardless of their status.”
