FA Cup final: See The Two Players Rooney Praised As Man-U Defeats Man-City
After Manchester United defeated Manchester City 2-1 in the FA Cup final on Saturday, former Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney praised two players in particular. With goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, the Red Devils led by two goals at the half. Speaking on BBC One following the match, Rooney praised the two young players.
In his words,
“To come into the middle of the pitch and dominate the way Kobbie Mainoo has done for large portions of this season and to perform the way he did against this Manchester City team.
“Them two [Mainoo and Garnacho] have been the stand out players for Manchester United this season.
“For them to be the match winners is great, I’m really pleased for them."
