Justin Timberlake arrested for ‘driving while intoxicated’

The musician was reportedly taken into custody on Monday night in Sag Harbor, New York, the Hamptons neighborhood.

A representative for the police department confirmed Timberlake's apprehension, and an official from Sag Harbor Justice Court verified that the accusations pertain to driving while intoxicated, or DWI, according to a local news outlet, Newsday.

In court on Tuesday, the pop star is anticipated to be charged, as per a statement from the district attorney's office in Suffolk County.

This occurs during "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour" by Timberlake. He has two nights booked in Chicago this weekend, then two gigs in New York City the following week.
