Tragedy and panic have engulfed the Nigerian internet space after the woman behind the viral video of ‘Mommy Calm down’ allegedly committed suicide. Sources in recent hours spread the shocking news after a close associate disclosed that she committed suicide earlier yesterday in her vicinity located at Benin. The identity of the young mother went viral following the hilarious reaction her son portrayed while she wanted to punish him for a supposed crime. In the viral video, the terrified 3-year-old infant repeatedly wailed ‘Mommy Calm down’ as her mother tried to punish him. The way he naturally pleaded for a second chance and assured his mother of amending his ways attracted the massive attention of concerned civilians who streamed the video. In this phase, philanthropic moguls jumped into the saga and promised to sponsor the child’s education. Despite the persuading view of many other pledges she bagged, no one delivered which worsened his mother’s expectation and anxiety. Unlike many other online buzz victims, she didn’t tense to call out her trespassers and embodied her pain privately as disclosed by several sources. The pressure grew bigger and foresaw her swerving suicidal. Via several sources, she committed suicide in her town in Benin City yesterday leaving her 3 kids and husband to the reality of life. Nigerians have so far flooded all the social media space to bid their condolences to the family of the deceased.
