My family distribute electricity to most of Nigeria – Davido

He claims that his family owns four power plants, which considerably offset Nigeria's energy requirements.

During an appearance on the American podcast "Business Untitled," Davido discussed his own finances and family business.

He said,

, “I once tried to go into cryptocurrency because Nigeria is big on crypto. Apart from that, me and my family have like four power plants worth a lot of money. We distribute energy to most of Nigeria.

“My wife is into culinary. We are trying to start a restaurant for her. But my main business is what I love; my music.”

A lot of people disagree with Davido's claims that his family provides the majority of Nigeria's energy needs, despite the fact that he comes from a wealthy family with assets in the energy industry.

In Nigeria, the government owns the majority of the country's large thermal and hydroelectric plants.
